Keywords on each page.

I'm quite new to SEO and would like to ask you guys a couple of questions.

First, Is it better to have a new title and description for each page that you have on your site and, do the keywords in the meta tags have to correspond with (a) the content of that page (b) the title and (c) the description. I know it is easier to have a page template that you set up with your meta tags and leave them the same for all pages but I have another site that has a homepage ranking of 3 but all of the other pages are ranked 0. The new site I am working on is a site that will have differing content on many pages although, they will deal with the subject of Florida Vacations.

TIA
Steve

I have a new title tag, new meta tags and descriptions on each page. I am only an amateur at SEO though so I'd be interested in other's feedback.

And here are your answers: each page needs a different title and a different description, because each page is about something else. Yes, the title and description have to correspond with the content of the page. And don't choose the easy way!

Ok thanks for that nbn. What about the keywords in the meta tags? Are they still important?

Some search engine still gives value to meta tags. Your meta tags must be related to the content of the page.
