Over Aggressive Link Building

Hi everyone,

I have been adding links at a very high rate lately, is there a problem doing this with search engines. I have noticed a drop in rankings lately. Is this temporary? I have added about 400 links from high pr contextual and strong directory listings.

My site is only 6 months old. Could I get banned for adding links this fast?

That would depend on how google see your links as natural links.

Actually taking a look at Yahoo, my main page index.html does not have cache. All the other pages do. What does this mean?
