Also, it takes a long time to get the Article Approved. I say, just start a Blog, you have more control.

Yeah Article submission is a nice source of backlinks especially when it is dofollow with quality PR. But some sort of article directories take a long time to approved a certain article maybe it depends on the quality of the post.
