How to optimize a military-related site?

I am trying to find military type of links for my site. Perferrably higher ranking sites. I rank high for a lot of my search terms but I need to get more towards an authority site if it possible in my niche. I just finished writing 4 new articles for ezine articles. They are published but not big traffic. I have spent the last year getting regular links and pounding the directories hard. I'm not hurting for position in Google but I would like to buld my daily uniques. Finding military sites with pr7-pr9 to buy links or trade seems almost impossible. Sure I can get other sites with that pr/traffic but I want something that builds good traffic and not just quick hits.

I figured I would ask if anyone has leads on these types of sites that offer links in anyway. If there's a place to ask...it's here...

Adam

Sorry I am not looking to buy through this posting. This was moved here as a wanted to buy but a moderator I guess thought I was trying to purchase links in this posting. I am actually just trying to get SEO advice on where to look. Please do not sell me links in this thread, but if someone knows a spot that might help me in locating information on how to approach military type site I would appreciate it.

Adam, try to find an SEO with experience in optimizing such sites. Or try a public relations agency. Sites with military content are tricky (not necessarily for SEO, but because their very content might generate some problems). Unfortunately I don’t know any one who could help you. The best for you would be to hire a local company: to be able to meet them face to face and explain your industry and your market.

Adam the bes thing would be to do is hire a company that is ranking for keywords that have 1 billion plus pages and are ranking on top of them

Thanks guys, my site have about 10,000 pages and i am trying to rank above them for sure. I really wanted to find out how to get links from them, but if I read this right...just rank above them instead? How do I do this if I can't get any high pr pages to link to my site that are related to my site?

Brings me to my next question, how do I become the highest ranking site of my niche with linking to higher related sites? The highest I seen for my type is a pr5 I think.
