Site dropping out of search engines
Hi people i need some advice for over a year now i have been number 1 in all of the search engines, i have recently seen my site dropping places and am now nearly invisible in all of the search engines for the keyword "costa blanca rentals" i just seem to have disapeared, I am wondering if it is because of my link building i have been doing, i have been submitting to directories (free and paid) and am now wondering if this is the cause of my problem, can anyone give me some advice as this is starting to destroy my business,
thanks for any help in advance.

Your getting gamed, start building links.

Getting Gamed
Well, I am not sure specifically what form of gaming tdd1984 is referring to but I read this article and thought about what he said and your post with this type of gaming.
Q: I’m worried that someone will buy links to my site and then report that.
A: We’ve always tried very hard to prevent site A from hurting site B. That’s why these reports aren’t being fed directly into algorithms, and are being used as the starting point rather than being used directly. You might also want to review the policy mentioned in my 2005 post (individual links can be discounted and sellers can lose their ability to pass on PageRank/anchortext/etc., which doesn’t allow site A to hurt site B).
The article is located at:

Confusing
Sorry, that was mis leading, what I'm pointing to is that some of your competitors might be building more links, so therefore there search engine rankings are higher.
Try to buy some links, or build them naturally through viral content.

probably its the most annoying thing about search engine.
basically, make sure your website is having good uptime, and response in acceptable time. and continue with seo.. also write new content for your website.

Build more backlinks. Avoid to build links the same way like you used before because it might be algorythm change... If you submitted site in 1000 directories before to get this positions, avoid directories submissions and try articles, forums, paid links etc...

Maybe it's because of google algorithm updates. Just continue on your link building and try to get more links from quality sites.

I have one simple tip for you. Use different content. Why?
Just do this search or maybe this one. Got it?
This is very good example to show duplicate content penalty.

I find it kinda funny to see it actually. Costa Blanca rental's hyper link is actually "invalid". Well, that is your first problem there!
Fix it asap. Now, secondly when was the last time you updated anything in your web site? A year? Two year? The site's gotta be relevant obviously, and since we can't see the content if your site is down. Any junk advertisements should be eliminated and go crazy with the back links that should catch you straight back.

that is one similar case than other ones who kept on questioning about their SERP positioning.
