When you have a site with content that updates at least once a day, would using the following benefit or help SEO efforts?

Wouldn't

content="no-cache"

not rather not put your site in Google's index and thus not displaying the content of the particular page in the search results.

This is the correct meta if you want to disable the public cashe

<meta name="GOOGLEBOT" content="noarchive" />

I implemented it into one of my site, since i thought many people click on the cashe link instead of the result link, and it won't provide any information about the referring keyword.

no seo advantage.
