Most of the Automatic Site Submission Tools are made just for marketing and promotions of the one who've created the software...
They don't mind if there are some problems or deficiencies with these tools cause their main purpose is to "advertise"...
That's my opinion...

Directory submission process is geared so specifically to each particular directory so you must submit by hand... In an automated submission program, some process can't adequately submit to any directory because it isn't able to study the directory's structure and determine which category is best. Another thing about automated submission is it provide spam however some reputable automated submission providers try to screen out the scam/spam sites, but you may still get spam email after you submit....

Manual submissions takes a lot of time...
But its the more efficient than using automated softwares...
After your submissions have been approved, time spent worth it...

Indeed, an automatic site submission is not good and your just putting your site at risk. Like them I vote for manual submission of site!

automatic submission is not viable. it will literally put your site at risk with a high percentage of being penalized.
