MSN & Yahoo more friendly than Google
For the past several months I have been studying and researching the seo market. And for my website uwantads.com and logoauction.net I have been targeting Google.com as far as my seo strategy goes. But as I review my web traffic analysts tool. 90% of my traffic is coming from MSN.com and Yahoo.com. I am finding that google is not as friendly as the rest of the search engines with it comes to seo strategy.

I have 60-70% of visitors from Google. MSN and Yahoo played major role when Google didn't trust my site only. Once my site made a break-through in Google I am happy with traffic that Google is sending to me. MSN and Yahoo don't have that power like Google even if you compare traffic from both of them to Google's potential. This is meant generally, not about your site.

I have know idea. I target my seo strategy towards google. But I have a better ranking withing yahoo and MSN. I have notice that google really only give your site credit when linked to website with PR5 or higher, which I have yet to do.

It really is not the matter of being more or less friendly, of different procedures.
Google, from day one was famous to be harder than the other two engines when it comes to getting to the top rankings, due to different algo structure, a dedicated SE team and offering better results.

It is different for every site. One of my clients has over 1000 daily visitors and only 2-3% was from Google, more than 60% from MSN.
Later when we did some optimization we reached over 500 uniques from Google a day but still... his MSN traffic are huge.

They might be friendly but they do not generate traffic at all.
From G I receive about 4-5 K./ day and from yahoo and msn, 0, nada.

It is almost impossible to get good traffic from all major search enginees in 1-2 years. Practice shows that only sites which online for a while with good link portfolio can get good traffic from all search engines.

I think your ranking would depend on how you optimized your site. You should balance your optimization for major search engine. Google gives priority to quality links while yahoo and MSN give priority to contents.
