Migrating Site from ASP to PHP: will it affect my links

Hi
I own a site, 2 years old. The site sells some product. I am planning to migrate the site from ASP to PHP(As i need to add some functionalities and ASP dont support it). The current PR of site is 2 and i am expecting atleast 4 in next google update.
Will the migration affect the links to my site i have already built up?
will the migration affect the search engine positioning, right now i get top ranking for some of the keywords?
will the migration affect my current PR?
One more thing the back link i have are all of my home page.

Waiting for some suggestions. I will appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Ashish

Hi,

For any static pages with backlinks, I think you will want to do a 301 redirect from the .asp to .php page to maintain page rank.

Regards,
roger

Your current .asp pages will drop out. Do what roger_d said and redirect each individual .asp file to the .php version. You don't want to lose your indexed pages and internal linking.
