keywords ranking lost?

why does keywords rankings lost all of a sudden? after it rank in the first page then all of a sudden it drops to second or way out!

Just like my keyword it rank from 2 and 3 now it drops to 24!

I hate when that happen!

How old is your site? Is it first time for your site to rank well?

The serps are fluctuating all the time.
I would say that this is normal.

Try to get some high trusted links, then you can expect some stagnation

You could be the victim of competition, you just have to keep updating and maintain your site, some people rank first for keywords they don't even know they have!

So just work hard.

Happens to me all of the time, even with really good optimization.

My guess is that Google runs a round robin for highly competitive keywords, giving lots of sites a chance to compete for attention. Those that do the "best" (however Google measures best), get to be in the higher seatings for a longer time. It seems that once you gain top seat for a certain duration (whatever that might be), you maintain that situation. In other words, that site has achieved authority. The rest have to battle for the search positions that remain - and it is really rough and competitive.

I have notice that the density and prominence of that keyword drop from 80 to 70% and the density if .68 % to .66%!

I guess focusing on that matter can recover the previous position of my keyword.

I am really upset!

Work on the particular keywords for which your site has experienced the drop in its rankings.
You can do that with the help of signatures on forums and blog comments, just see that they are good quality sites.
One of the reasons could also be that there must have been some increase in the amount of competition for that particular keywords.

Oh I see, well that keyword has a low searches per month, I checked it and find out that it only has 200 + searches per month. I won't get lots of traffic from that keywords. Am I right?

yeah your right, it means you need a keyword that mostly users searched.. if you find that the competition is very big and too much users searched for that keyword like if it's more than 10,000, you can use a 3-4 words keyword to avoid too much competition.

What you can do is you may combine your keywords to have less competition but high quality keyword, keep on optimizing and continuously building links to quality sites and it may help you bring back your keywords at the first page!

Don't mention that... it happened to me as well.... anyway, it's just because Google ranking is dynamic and everything is always updating. Generally new contents get better ranks, until then they start to drop.

its okey.. some data centers had different result in terms of SERPs, you can only say that you have a stable rank on one of your keyword if all data center had already the same result. Just still continue your link building process and later on you will get a good result for sure..

Check whether you have a bad neighborhood with your links. The spamming might be the cause of your rankings. My friend also had same issues. Check for keyword density on your website and make necessary changes. Hope this helps

most of my keywords ranking well up to now!I just confused when a certain keyword drops from 2 to 23. I am working hard for that keyword for almost 5 months! then all of a sudden it drops!

Rankings in SE differ from time to time because of the SEs updates in algorithm. Don't worry just follow their algorithm and you will see... Constants changes happens to SEs and that's natural so don't worry. Continue your SEO...
