404 errors and pagerank
I'm wondering if having 404 errors affects the SEO for a site? I recently changed some directories on http://themebot.com/ and the old pages which weren't ranked well anways do of course show up as not found in google web masters tools. Will these temporary 404 errors affect pagerank for the site or cause a penalty?
