I've got some articles in SR, no duplicated with enough contents PR3

A few weeks ago I had almost all my articles in SR, did not change anything, now some of these pages are not anymore in SR, go figure....

Low PR...as cricket mentioned is the cause of pages going in Supplemental Index since low PR sites are not deeply crawled. The other reasons being duplicate content issues plus when you linked to some page and then the link was taken away!

What do you mean by low PR? What is low PR? PR1, PR2, PR3, PR4 or PR5?

No one is trying to automatically blame duplicate content, it is one of the reasons for which a page comes under Supplement Index.

I agree, but often it still all comes back to one thing - low pagerank.

If you go by the Google Webmaster Tools, they list PR4 and below as low PageRank.

Hope they will improve the webmaster tools very soon.

Scrapers can hurt your site very bad, and can put some of your page in SR too. I am not sure if my site still hurt by a Norway scraper with search engines, but this guy scraped more than 25,000 sites in a few weeks.

Anyway that's sad to see people doing that and try to take advantage of your hard work.

Sooner or later they will be caugh anyway.

You can consider Google's supplemental pages a repository full of unrecommended resources. Quality niche links are the recommendations, go get them.
