No, that mind set is obsolete in the current environment. You want slow and steady and not necessarily fast. If you go out and get too many links too fast it might appear as artificial to Google and raise a red flag. You want quality over quantity, if you go out and get a bunch of crappy links they probably won't be counted anyway. I recommend getting a few quality paid directory links like from the v7n directory, get 5-10 a month for a few months and build good content and the rest will fall in place.

I think fastest way of acquiring backlinks is not necessary as long as you can are sure that the links that you're getting is from quality and related sites.

Has anyone looked at Molten Marketing...It's like the University of Marketing. They tech you how to get backlinks fast and help you do it. It is a step by step program ...A little expensive though.. I think Well worth it .. It has really helped my business.

Don't pay anyone like "molten Marketing" or any other scam to get you links. Most all of those type of links wouldn't count anyway. Go out and get them yourself, get them slowly and make sure you only get quality links and especially only link out to quality sites that compliment your own.

If you are targeting to get a high SERP you must be patient in building a fast backlink, google will find it unusual so you must do it slowly but surely, what I mean is build a quality backlinks.

You have to give to receive. Try giving money to those 'manual' directory submitters, you can get many many links and category targeted, and this is permanent links. How many back links you get depends on the plan you pay, experienced ones are better.

Therefore links from directories or links exchange pages are not the best quality links. While it doesn’t hurt to have links from directories or links exchange pages in most cases (excluding trusted directories and websites) it just wasted time or money.
