Most Searched Items...

Does anybody know a tool that will give you updated results of the most searched items? Like if I want to know which movies are searched most by users....Thanks in advance...

There not really anything like that, but you can use keyword tools they'll show similar searches, search for something like movies and it will bring back the most popular searches related to movies, then what you can do is run this through Adwords.

When you run it through Adwords you get more accurate results then what you would using the seo tools, the keyword analyzers just give you an "idea", of what keywords to use.

Not sure if I read the question right but http://www.google.com/trends is great for finding out trends on certain searched words/phrases, obviously you need to know what to look for first (just reread the Q)

Excuse my ignorance but how can I run it in Adwords?

This person has asked a general question related to finding the most searched terms in a specific time period. It has nothing to do with Adwords keywords suggestion tools as what he needs is something that displays i.e. the most searched terms in the last 48 hours using Google (US) or similar.

How do you state this has nothing to do with adwords when it does? With adwords you can tell how many impressions you get peer week, per day, or etc. Therefore once he gets a desired list built up he can get an idea of more accurate results which granted he might have to pay some money out on clicks, but he can tell how many impressions that particular keyword is getting.

Read this
http://adwords.google.com/support/bi...en&answer=6320

you set it to run through the search engine only, and not the adnetwork like google adsense when you initiate this type of market plan you can get accurate results, but keep in mind oracle you must set your bid rate high so it stays on top.

I am ranked in the top 5 for very competitive keywords like website design, and this is a tool I used for clients sites, and my own to get accurate measurements, and yes I had to spend some money out on clicks, but its well worth it. (beats 3 months of trying to rank a keyword then you find out the seo tool was not accurate).
