10 Steps To Success, Without SEO
I don't agree with the premise that SEO is obsolete. It isn't. So long as there are organaic results, there will be SEO.

....however this bit gave me a laugh:

Install the dofollow plugin in order not to treat other bloggers like spammers.

I didn't know there was a dofollow plugin. Heh heh....like it!

I think perhaps the comment refers to the WordPress default nofollow attribute for links within comments. There is a WP plugin that is actually referred to as the dofollow plugin.
Edit: Sorry, I jumped the gun, I see they already explained the dofollow plugin in the article.

I agree as long as there are organic results, SEO will never be obsolete...
Dofollow plugin --> Spread Link Love?
I think they are just misguiding other people that even you don't SEO you will be successful... That makes me laugh...

SEO will never be obsolete. It is still part of internet promotion.I check the link you gave is still part of the SEO technique and I used most of them.

I agree.. That 10 techniques are still part in doing SEO.. and the title itself is really annoying! "10 Steps to Success on the 'Net Without SEO" I think the one who wrote this didn't really know the things and technique to be consider in doing SEO? What do you think?

peter_d,
This article is a big Joke...
"As you see most of it is not very spectacular and you probably already do some of it. Moreover no SEO as you know it is really involved until now."
Then what is it.,.??
Hmm then I will change our service name to "No SEO Services"..
We do all those mentioned tasks under SEO Services..
Thanks
Troy

Right. Like I said, I don't agree with the premise.
Dofollow amuses me. I don't like the nofollow tag - I think it's a confused idea - and it amuses me there is now a plugin to cripple it, and the reason the author gives for doing so.

I think you were really bored to find and read that post (am saying this just because i am (at this moment) bored enough that i did read that dude's post and i even took time to comment on it).
I am not sure if i am tired enough or have lost my brains, but that guy over there it was contradicting himself all the time. Just as like forget about on page seo but get a wordpress because it is se friendly, than forget about backlinks but submit your site to CSS galleries ... and yet, you are telling me you are doing no SEO there? Well maybe you can think about pr0ns while you do that, but that does not mean you are not doing SEO (even tho those are the basics, where in the hell are you going without a unique content). Oh and finally as i was writing this i ended up on someone who has commented on his "nonsense post" (at least thats what his post is for me).

On one pass through, it’s easy to accept this advice as materially different from SEO, especially with the care that Tadeusz has taken to point out the differences between SEO and his advice.
But the more I read this (as it was reblogged), the more I started recognizing some of these techniques as fairly standard SEO practices today.

Can i please request this thread to be moved on the "Have a laugh" section of the forum? just teasing..
