Sitemap & Goolgle page indexing

Hi Guys,

We have just built and are beta testing our new Florida villa rental website. It has been built using asp.net we also have a forum that is built in asp. The thing is Google has indexed the site but has only indexed the default front page and almost every page of the forum. None of the other pages appear to have been indexed.

I used the program google site mapper from coffeeecup and an online site map generator to to see what they come up with. The google site mapper did exactly the same as google it spidered the site and concentrated on the forum until it got to the forum includes folder where it said "processing....." So I ran it again this time I excluded the includes folder and it completed the sitemap it found over 1000 pages but still excluded all the other links on the default page.

The online one I tried was from xml sitemaps dot com and that did seem to find the missing pages but only generates site maps with up to 500 pages.

can anyone think of a reason those pages were not indexed? Or where we should look to find the problem. Is there a better tool out there that will show us?

Are your pages dynamically generated ?

Hi MaiHai,

basically they are server side generated pages but none of the content is dynamic. They only have the aspx extn because of the master pages.
