I use SEO Elite, It is a nice soft/

I am a fan of Advanced Web Ranking -
1. You select the search engines to use
2. You type in the sites to test
3. You type in the keywords to test
4. You run the test and it gives you the search engine rank for each site for each keyword.
5. Save the report - run it again next week to see how your ranks have changed.

What kind of parameter to look in a keyword?
I know that I need to check difficulty/popularity and similar keywords, but what else?

I would go for the SEO Elite Advanced Keyword Optimizer tool. It's really worth it for the various features it offers to analyze the keywords in different parameters. http://www.keywordelite.com/

What else is there in the KeyWord? I think those are enough.

I used various online scripts, webranking and seo-elite are the best as for now.

There are constant changes in G-Y-M search engines, which can't be upgraded in desktop versions. I think that's the only drawback, unless soft providers are quick enough to get it upgraded.
