SEO on Proxies ?

Hi Guys,

I know this is a million dollar question now... what SEO will u do on the proxies ?

I know that is a ultra competitive niche & we have all stumbled on this question.

As the school season is starting in some days from now, I started http://www.zetoxy.com & I used a some tricks in the title... & also wrote in some description that targets proxy, secure browsing.

The adsense placement is cool, So now how can I optimize this site ??

If it is really a good tool,, users will probably refer your tool and share it with others who need proxies...

Well It is a normal php proxy, which every one uses, The only special thing is that It is fast & hosted on my VPS... ! But I am trying to optimize it for the search engines..

hmmm? you have alot of competitors on "proxy" keyword... you gotta work hard on it... but promotion really helps... usually proxy site don't have much content...

I think you should work on link building like mad because content is usually not part of such websites, reason why I can't see you ranking too high using on-page techniques.

Hi Mihai, the site is not ranking as the site was launched just 2 days back.

I was talking in general, not about the present. AKA: "I can't see you ranking (in the future) very high if you will base on content, reason why you will need links, many quality, relevant links"

Ooops, I got it, I have started building links to this proxy, anymore on-site can u suggest me.

You could write some content about the benefits of your service.

Articles such as "How to access Hi5 from filtered networks?" will do good because people will search for such stuff, come and read your article and eventually use your service.

Proxy is a broad word because it is a very simple keyword. Put a less simpler but has a high search volume.

What he is trying to say is: look for some sort of niche inside the market that you are attacking. This will lower your competitors but still bring you customers, giving you a start inside the larger view.
