don't aim from the begining top keyword

A lot of business owners or project managers that are involved in sales increasing over the internet want from the beginning to rank for top keywords.

Case study (we have "office furniture" keyword).
A company that makes this type of products will want top ten from the beginning for "office furniture". Setting this goal is good, but on long term.

First they must focus on keywords like:
modern office furniture
modular office furniture
office furniture desk
ergonomic office furniture

So it will be a title like: Modern, Modular & Ergonomic Office Furniture Store

This title together with the content and description tag will aim on short term 3-4 words keywords, and only on long term you will work on the main target keyword.

I am sure this is well known by experiences seo's. This is for beginers who are hungry for info.

Yup, your right bogs and it all depends on how good you will optimize the page or the site itself. :-)

Good advice/guidance.

Its a marathon, not a sprint for the top keywords.
