Good stuff, to many people fall for that.
You can get a clear idea of where your site is at at this link
http://www.smartpagerank.com/result....hstarcases.com
but you have heaps of links and idexed pages, and you should easily be PR4 at next updated, you have plenty of incomming PR4 and PR5 links.
If you dont have it already, you should look @ getting google analytics, just register @ google.com and then get your developer to copy the two lines of code onto each page of your site.
then you will get a good feel for where people are coming from, and what they are doing on your site.
But apart from that you have done well good work.

Seems like a great idea

Steven D - Thanks for your help! I checked out the link. That would be awesome if we went to a PR4 since we appear to currently be PR2. I will check with our web developers about the google analytics. Thanks again.

We do get a report every month from our web developers (we are paying them for some SEO stuff too) telling us what keywords people used to get to our site, and how long they stayed there among other things. Is that the same thing as the Google Analytics?

yeah that is probably web reports tool running on the server monitoring traffic which is just ass good.
As long as it tells you the main things like, what percentage of your visitors are return visitors and which ones are new people, which country they are coming from, which keywords they used if they came from a search engine or which sites refered them to you, eg which link from which site did they follow to get to your site.
Long as you have that, or most of it, then you cant get much better

You will attached a link where your article came from right? Is it ok if the content you will put to the digg is same with the link attached into it?

Yes. Links are there. Also you need to add only a short description of what the article is all about

I would make the link description different than the content of the link. You don't want duplicate content.

I feel that if you have even a single quality link (high PR), the chances for your website being indexed is quicker and many SEOs are advocating not to submit your site to major search engines since it would take a lot of time (some times up to 2 weeks) to get indexed.

There is only one answer to that question:
"IN BOUND LINKS"
Get a few good inbound links and the Googlebot will follow them to you site where it will be indexed.
You don't have to submit your site to search engines and if your site is optimized and linked together internally with a sound menu system you don't need a site map.
Linking to sites no matter what the page rank won't help you. You want them to link to you.
You don't need to ad AdSense to get your site crawled and indexed, and whatever you do don't put any one else's code on your site, that is idiotic.
|
Agree, all what that article is untrue... Where did that writer get that informations?
organic IBLs is the best.....How to get index faster?
Linking to already crawled sites is the key...(forum for example)

5. Put AdSense (just put anyones PUB code or leave it empty..Put it for a 48 hours even if you don’t use it)
|
For your information i want to inform you that there is different bot of adsense and Google search engine. So if we place a Google adsense on our website then it is not useful for crawling of our website.

Manual directory submission on related sites, social bookmarkings and forum posting can help your site indexed

The simple tip is build links to your site - that is all you need to do and anyone with a website should be doing that anyway.
SiteMaps, submissions to SEs, Putting Adsense on your site etc. are all not needed.
