Getting your website indexed faster

First of all, engines today, specially google is really fast at indexing a new site. But I think that the best way to get your site indexed quickly is to get a link from a site, that way next time the spider visits the site it follows the link to your new site and gets indexed...

thanks for the tips and it is very useful to our site. for me, the best way to get indexed is to create a blog that is related to your site, with link to a main site and submit it to blog directories

...that makes sense. I think, dont quote me here, but i get the feeling that from an algorithm preference point of view, I think its best to get a site indexed via a link... Im totally speculating here, but i think it gives it a quote on quote, bonus point.
