If you had to slap a scoring system to the SEO elements what percentages would you give to the following areas? I'm mean what "weight" would you give in the relation of them all together on a scale of 100. (i.e. title tag 30%, meta keywords 10%.....etc.)

Keyword in Anchor text
Page content (keywords)

Don't you think that the title tag and anchor text are pretty close though? Although I could see Anchor text taking the lead a bit.

Although I would use most of thses elements to work with each other - so depends on project and SEO stratagy at the time!

Yes it is zero to the 11th decimal places.

I agree with John's assessment. Many of you seemed to miss the fact that alt tags with image links are probably just as powerful as anchor text with text links. Google wants to know what a link is about. There are only two thing that will tell them this. One is the anchor text and the other is the alt tag if an image is used.
