If just a similar content not a copy one, then you should name it differently..

I guess it would help your site SEO-wise to have different title tags for each page

Iwill name some of them differnetly and hide the rest with robot file

i will do that name some of the differently and hide the rest with robot.txt file So that the search engines will not see them

Since I have 26 pages with similar content i think that will be pratical solution to this

Use different titles for different pages. This helps in the website SERP's.

Don't use similar content for each pages of your site. Usually we create fresh content or based on what the page is about.I use different title with different pages.

Yes, but it is better to put the main keyword for the title.

What do you intend with similar content? Is it something like one page speaks about food and the other one speaks about hamburger? Or is it more like first page speaks about sushi and the other speaks about the same sushi but has something extra added?

If the answer is the first example, than definitively create different title for different page, while if the answer is the second example than eliminate the duplicate content

The title is used in search results so it has a big effect on whether searchers will click on your link in the search results. Try to get keywords toward the start of the title but keep looking like good anchor text.

I think if your pages have similar content (no dupes), than you should try to give the same TITLE to each of them + TITLE of your unique page. This way you will streighten the value of your "topic" keyword throughout the website.

I would put the unique TITLE first then the general TITLE. As a general rule, closer to the start in a title, url, content, the better.

You want at least some difference IMO on the title even if the material is similar.
