This is the story

I was on page 2 (Google) for my keyword At the time I had 2 websites ( 1 of them RAW html with "on page seo" the whole 9 yards) and then off that website you could click to go to the online shop hosted on a ecommerce site.


My back links at the time:

Recently because I had a high exit rate on my index page I uploaded oscommerce on to my site (site has over 800 pages now) to entice user to purchase or view products more.

Then I submitted to 3 more directories

botw.org
www.2yi.net
www.alivedirectory.com

Now I’m ranked (on Google) page 3 at the bottom.

I think everyone will say I lost my rank because of my site now being oscommerce because there is nothing SEO about it but I would like some feed back as to what I could have done wrong here.

PS: I must Note Google after 3 weeks still is yet to see that I am listed on botw and alive directories.

Why not just add good text content coupled with deep linking throughout the website? Just be sure that you have good content within main categories/brands. Also, have the product id number first in the title tag of each product.
