another thing they can do is claim that a site has violated a copyright which you hold, and Google will be forced to deindex the site for 10 days. If by then you don't start a lawsuit, they are no longer obligated to keep the site de-indexed, but in many cases they wait to re-index it for quite some time.

Hire a hacker to inject iframe redirects to malware sites which will stop Google traffic dead in its tracks. Even better, if its a blog then post malware links as the author of the comment. Possibly the easiest way to kill traffic.

Nice article! Yes it might be a reason because competitors would use any method to sabotage your site. Always be aware and check what would the competitors do to your site because your money depends on it.
