301 redirect

hi,
I have been working with server side redirections for my client. They work on an Iplanet server and weblogic server combination.
Through my research i found out that there were two instances of 302 which was happening (first dsn resolution and next file find) We made some code changes and have made the file find instance to 301. Do you think this is good enough a solution?

Take it easy.
301 redirect is redirect on the server side. Ask this your web hosting provider support team. You save your time. And at least you are paying for that.

thanks, but for some strange reason the multiple sub domains are resolved internally and hence the hosting guys dont have much of a role i believe. in this kinda senario do you think the solution i have works fine from the SEO perspective?
