Yahoo Updating? New Algo?

Some people have noticed big changes at Yahoo.

(1) What Aaron calls a "botch up" in how Yahoo handles sitewide 301 redirects.
(2) Yahoo seems to be giving more weight to the words in a domain name.

Personally, I’ve noticed some sites with high authority domains, in the perception of Yahoo, such as TheFreeDictionary.com, and all of its keyword heavy definition pages, rising in Yahoo rankings.
