How 301 redirect will affect my site

Hi everybody,

I really need your professional opinion.
Currently I'm using lots of affiliate links on my site supremedeal.com. And it's being considered by some tools as bad environment. Most of those links are 302 redirects, and as far as I know Google doesn't like such redirects. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But, on the other hand, I've heard 301 redirect is much friendly to the search engines than the other tipes of redirects. Is it correct?

If that is correct, I can make all those affiliate links 301 redirect, even assigning my major keywords to those hyperlinks. But I wonder, will it help me to avoid punishment from Google and other serch engines by using redirect?

I even heard there are some services which make such "clean" redirect procedure, like alexa redirects, etc. I'm not sure how clean it is, but I could do 301 redirect on my dedicated server by myself using Internet Service Manager.

Please, advise. Your help is being very appreciated.

Hi,

I was expecting any reply from professionals. So far didn't get it.

I am pretty sure, there are many people on this forum experienced with 301 redirects and the problems related to the affiliate links, which are considered by Google as bad neighborhood. Actually, I don't think they are in bad neighborhood because most of them came from well respected sites.
Raising the same question, will 301 redirect help to label them as good neighborhood.
If I'm not clear enough in my previous posting, please let me know.

It's already a few days since my initial posting about applying 301 redirect. I start thinking my question was either too easy that no one even pay attantion to it, or it's very hard to be answered. My guess, it's too easy.

But, seriously, can anyone help me with issue posted in my initial thread.

A lot of the people who hang out here hang other places where you have asked the same question.

Why post the same response twice. You got valid answers in the other forums.

Even if lot of the people (NOT ALL) hang other places, I think nothing is wrong to hear different opinion too, especially when the issue is not that simple. Or you just reading one book and consider yourself super professional not to read another book?

I guess, most of the people first collect different opinions in different sources and then make their own decision, and if it works then share experiance with other members on all forums they participate. That is a main point of any forum. Don't you think so?
