I think yes.. because Google hates link farms and consider it as spam. Once it is noticed Google some sites get removed from the index.
It is called as spamexing or spamdexing

Stay away, if you care about the long term benefits of owning a profitable site. Link farms are a cute way to get indexed fast and even pick up a little SE traffic, but you'll get slapped down pretty quick WHEN (not if) google realizes your linking practices.

Link Farms are fake-content directory web sites that are set up just to provide links to one another. This artificially boost up their search rankings.
We must avoid this activities because If the search engines find your link in such a farm, even if you know nothing about it, your search ranking can be penalized.

Link farm is a number of web pages built for the purpose of getting high rankings and link popularity even if the link are not quality or related. It's like cheating the search engines just to get good results...

A page with like a million links. However, if my mind serves me right, it's not recommend having or linking from a page that has more than 100 links.

Linkfarm, as described by Wiki, is a collection of websites which contain hyperlinks to boost page ranking of targetted sites in search engines. The hyperlinks are usually created by computers, rather than human beings.
This is nothing different to linkfarming used by OS software like WordPress or Movable Type. They, like many applications of their ilk, contain links to the site of the software maker. The links aren't placed on web sites by the people who use the software -- it's placed there automatically by the software. This creates a linkfarm which can be abused easily by the software authors.
