I know quite a bit about motherboards but it seems you want quite a substantial one and I am only good with lesser versions. Do you have a budget at all? If so how much

I've been searching Biostar USA... but can't seem to find one that supports 4 184-pin slots for memory.

It's going to be harder to choose a motherboard than it was to choose a processor.

I'm very disappointed in you people. Hurry up and decide on a motherboard.

Are those four white bars the sockets for memory?

I'm late in the convo, but...
The AMD motherboards normally support a much larger range of processor speeds .. you could easily get a motherboard that can handle from XP 2100+ up to XP 3200+ . You should watch out for Intel motherboards because they normally require much more expensive RDRAM .. AMD motherboards use standard DDR RAM. Most modern motherboards support at least 2-4GB of RAM, so you shouldn't have a problem finding one.

No, they're PCI slots. The brown one is AGP. The blue is the memory.

You would have to get 2 one gig memory sticks.
