Every SEO Should Read This
This is so well observed.

Is your mid-term strategy based on the fact that Google absolutely needs more traffic than it has now, and is willing to pay for it? Quality content will get rewarded. Professional committed web publishers will get rewarded, as fly-by-trend search engine spammers get dropped. Serious, commited efforts to increase the rich web experience for users will increase traffic, and will get rewarded by Google. I’ll leave for homework the question “How will Google reward such efforts”. Here’s a hint: T-R-A-F-F-I-C.

That's really obvious... If you'll provide a juicy contents, google will surely reward it by placing you on your deserve spot in their rankings. When that happens, you surely have a good traffic for your site.

Google and its talking heads have been hinting around this for a while.
The AdWords model was going to be put into place where sites that produce the greatest amount of traffic where going to be rewarded as oppose to the highest bidders.
Well, if this is the case with your blurb. It appears this is going to start happening. They had been hinting around this and now it seems like us SEO people are going to have to find how to drive the greatest amount of traffic to our websites.
But not only that, once the visitor reaches the destination it will be our job to keep them there and entertain them.
Because not only will traffic be judged, it had been said we need to provided the greatest amount of visitor value, which translate into what they do on the pages.
So anyone out there see this to be the case?
Ed
