Again there is no wrong or right answer, but how much time do you spend optimizing your sites? I assume everyone has more than one. What would you say the majority of your time is spent doing?

well, i focused more on off page optimization than on page since I think that my site well optimized in terms of on page.. But I'm still doing a quality content and some updates on it.
Its like 6hours of doing off page and 2hours on on page..

I'm focusing more on providing quality content on my site. For me, it takes a while to provide such content. After all, link building is somewhat like searching a site and sending a request link exchange, that's not so hard to do is it?

I think SEO is an ongoing process and it never stops. I suppose everything I do online has something to do with SEO. And no matter what people say, as long as you don't post anonymously, as long as you have a link to your site in your profile, or anywhere else for that matter, you are doing SEO.

I do link building all the time and onpage optimization on every other day....

I'm constantly adding new stuff to my sites and when I'm all done then I go in my email and I have like hundreds of new items from other webmasters that want me to add more stuff to my sites. All of this gets individually search engine optimized by my quick little fingers. If I had more time I would spend it finding other talented webmasters to help share and spread traffic between our sites.

SEO is a continue process. SEO work time limits is depend upon the size of the website. If website is big then there is lot of time needed for onpage optimization and after the completion of on page optimization there is directories submission and search engine submission taking lot of time and still we can not say that our website come in listing when? Because it depends upon on Search Engines. At the the time of seo process may be there is a chances your website for getting penalize, sandbox or blacklisting. so... We can not say when our website comes in listing. Just do step by step work and you can get output one day.

Actually for me, off page optimization would be the longest rather than on page. Because once you've create your site the next thing you'll do are link building. I mean lots and lots of links.

like 4 to 8 hours everyday? ...

kinda tedious really but worth the effort when you reap what you saw.
