Reciprocal Links Still Working

A DP user conducted a test to see what is the value of reciprocal links.
Results (after a year) and details are - reciprocal links are not dead, weren’t dead before, and aren’t dead now.

So much for the hype, eh.

We can conclude from that that, all things being equal, reciprocating links have no more or less value than one-way links. Yeah, I know, we all read Matt Cutt’s post about how excessive reciprocal linking can hurt, and I’m sure Matt is right. But the key word there is “excessive”.

This is a very valuable information on reciprocal linking "peter_d".

Thank you very much for easing out the burden of thinking about it everytime I do reciprocal linking with other websites and directories.

This has ling been a debate of the century and the keyword "excessive" is actually what holds me down from doing some.

Thanks for the informative post...BY the way there is no harm in doing reciprocal linking especially if it's a quality and related sites.. It must not be done in excessive way...
