Any idea how I can measure organic CTR?
Hi all,
I'm new the forum but have been working as an SEO for a few years now. Currently have an in-house position for a major online travel agent, and often find myself reading a bunch of SEO forums, V7N being one of them...
I'm trying to figure out a way using Omniture data to calculate organic Click Thru Rate, much in the same way Adwords gives CTRs for keywords within PPC campaigns.
The point being that I'd like to work on optimising title tags for the best performing pages to try and increase CTR from our organic page 1 rankings, much the same way I would optimise Adwords copy to improve CTR.
I can gather visit data by keyword from Google, and by knowing current rankings (or looking at additional Omniture data) I know which URL is ranking/getting traffic for a specific keyword. What I can't estimate is the number of impressions the organically ranking page has had, to calculate the CTR.
Can anyone think of a way I might be able to get the number of Google impressions in the UK a page ranking in the top 3 for a specific keyword gets?
Thanks - Andrew
