WebWhat: What is the single most important factor in SEO for Google?
Backlinks? Content? Other?
|
Ok, The general answer of - Everything is Most important & Just as equal - is just that, General. Of course many elements are required, however, being a Process, EVERY process has to start somewhere with something first & then the rest is added to it in order to reach as close to perfection as possible.
Research it -
Step #1: (The first part of the process) This includes but is not limited to: Competition analyzing, keyword research / Analyzing, Content structure analyzing, Base product / Service research, Etc...
- Design / Layout between steps 1 & 2 -
Once analysis & research is complete for your field of interests you move on to
Step #2: This includes but not limited to On page design / Optimization, Keyword Rich Unique content implementation, Sub-Page cross Linking, Navigation Optimization, Image Optimizing, Alt/Title Attributing, Meta configurations, Etc...
Now you are ready for -
Step #3: (Now that you have content worthy of others interest) This includes but is not limited to: Off-page Optimization, Inbound link building, SEM, Advertising, Branding, Etc...
The list goes on & each one of the steps breaks down into sub categories for each element within the step.
So to answer a question with - It's all equally needed, well thats a given & a cop out - (Again, everything has to start somewhere)
This is My opinion of course compared to millions of others, adhere to it or take it with a grain of salt, Be your own judge & do some research...
I wish you the best of success!
