hi,
i want to know in detail about SEO, what should be know by me to be a seo, what are major works of a SEO, and what is SEM, will some like to explain in detail and work of both.

I think you were looking for the broad meaning of SEO.
Why don't you try to look up at the other related SEO
forums such as Highrankings, Forums.Seochat, and
Digitalpoint. Maybe those can help you more.

SEO is something like this - your the manager and you have a star. You must put up good impression to be able to get noticed.

SEM on the other hand is this, you must SEO first then promote - in order for a star to be known, you must set up a gigs, guestings, commercials, press conference etc.. The main purpose of this is to be known in the public eye, make a name, in general, be popular.

After all of that, you now have a shining star which is well known and popular.

In order for a star to stay on its position, be sure to maintain it and manage it well.

While SEO is a SEM method on which you improved the quality of the site via natural or organic method. The major work of SEO is to promote the site through link building, increase traffic and conversion to sales, SERP (search engine keywords) and site monitoring.

first of all, you need to read articles about seo and even here itself, there are many many threads about your questions. So, try to read them.

And don't be aggressive, have patience. Because if you want to come in SEO, you need to learn patience.

Aggressiveness is not related to this forum. Nothing is there in your hand except your hardwork.

i am just irritated that no one can give me description that what are elements, i am beginner but not as much as you thinking, n what meaning of k, if you know then just tell otherwise i will wait for exact answer, i just ask what you did when you were new in SEO just describe so otherone can also get help.

That's what I have done Deepraj...Reading about SEO in ezinearticles.com and in several other seo related fourms like V7N, SEOguy etc..

SEOchat was also there as a big source to me that time... but that was a long time...
