What SEO Clients want?

Hi,

after my 1 year and 6 months experience in SEO I found that there is a 4 types of client in SEO.

1. Client who want Traffic on site.
2. Client who want Leads.
3. client Who want PR upgrade.
4. Client who want ranking in major search engines.

If you know the above 4 clients want then you can easily take decision in SEO what you should to do for fulfill clients desire.

Please let me know, if any other things in SEO which wants client.

Are you agree with this list of 4 SEO clients requirements.

i agree with you gunjap and the 4 seo clients requirements you said.another is the content management system (CMS) or the company the more focus on the content writing.

Basically SEO clients really want to boost their sales online. They also want that their company will be recognized by their customers.

I must agree with you! that's why they put up a website to market and gain more profits, same us with SEO to maintain the sites and put it on top.

SEO people are working only on few keywords for thousands dollars, when you are selling online, you need all your products ranked.

This is why SEO budget can be afforded only by big brand companies, or they've got a SEO department for their products.

Site + SEO= Help to search engines with the right information.

Before making money in whatever industries you need to work on the site, in most cases you are loosing money the first year. Check how old is the domain on the top serps, and you will discover no one's is new.

Some people are looking SEO as a key to their problem, unfortunately they know nothing about SEO and how it works.

You are right about 3 out of 4 things on which clients generally focused at. One main point what you have missed over here is a "Free Seo Service" it should come on to the top of your list, because client's love free services!

This is actually is not true. When somebody doing the proper SEO it is practically impossible to do optimization only for few keywords. The proper SEO usually include site-wide onsite optimization and many other Internet marketing techniques.

For example right now I am almost complete SEO for one adult content site. Yes, we made an agreement on certain key-phrases, however after optimization they start enjoying the traffic from hundreds and hundreds (and this number is drastically growing) keywords variations including keywords from their products. Therefore is a big money.

what do you mean by free services? free services like submitting to free directories?

I guess he tries to point out about giving some "free services" to your clients. Let's say a couple of free banners, or submissions...
