difference of backlinks and traffic? backlinks are links from a site to your site. traffic is the volume of visitors that visits your site.

relation of backlinks to traffic? I think when you have a link to a site, then user tends to click your anchor text there, then your traffic increases. therefore, traffic is gained through your anchor text on the a site whenever user click it to visit it.

If your site has more back links, your site can get higher ranking in SERP and you can get more traffic.

Backlinks are links coming from other site pointing at your site and also
known as Inbound Links.

OF course if your site has many backlinks there is a chance that it will drive
traffic to your site because the visitors may click into the links going to
your site. It is more preferable to have backlinks from quality sites and
related sites if you want to drive more traffic.

Not just backlinks but quality backlinks....can get you high SERPs..
