Titles of Each Page

A number of my page titles say Holland Michigan Real Estate, which is my main keyword for my home page. Could this be hurting my homepage by having this title on so many other pages?

what do you mean by "so many" here? if you really mean many, like, a hundreds or thousands, it will surely hurt because you are stuffing your keywords which is really bad. for better suggestion, use some keyword density tools available online, go find them. a nice keyword density takes 2-4%, I think its still ok when it exceed until 8% or 10%...

http://www.lukebouman.com/
http://www.lukebouman.com/aboutUs.cfm
http://www.lukebouman.com/sellers.cfm

All of these pages and about 10 other ones have Holland Michigan Real Estate in the title at the top. I am starting to drop for this keyword so I am wondering if it's because I am over doing it.

okey...Its fine to have those keyword on your title on each page. My guess on this is that you might be overrun by your competitors, meaning their site is better than yours. You might as well check on your competitors to know what you lack in case you have. Also, your in top 10, being in top 10 is great, but I know that you want to be on the 1st of course. With the current position of your site in SERP on that keyword, its not bad I must say, I suggest that you focus more on driving traffic to your site which is more important than SERP ranking. Just maintain the rank and update regularly and don't forget to link build. in other words, continue SEO-ing.

Achieving your target takes time so while waiting, better do possible things you think will help you to go on top. It will surely give you positive results. Be patient.

Remember, although title tags are good for SEO however this is not the only factor that you should consider. Keep in mind your competitors may be doing the same thing that you're doing as well! Keep your eye out for other SEO method. Best of luck!

If your competitors are overtaking you I doubt that is because of the titles issue. It's more likely that they have higher popularity.

Of course.....you should have different tilte for different pages if you have ost of same theme pages than you should have a little variation or add some logical words with them........also check your keyword density it should not be approx 2 to 4%.

Applying the same keywords to each of the pages is just not favorable for the search engines. You should be applying different set of keywords for the specific pages which are related to that page because that is favored by the search engines due to its content relevancy which matches the title of the page and they also prove to be user friendly to physically challenged users who use the audio options for surfing the site.

A very important thing which you should always remember is that you should never change the title of the pages on the site as that would very seriously prove disastrous for the site in its rankings. Title is the identity of your site and the search engine recognizes the site through it, yeah but if you keep doing minor changes in a span of time like 8-12 months then that would be fine and that is if you really want to make the changes to the title keeping in mind the relevancy factor.

Also the keyword density should be under 5% if you are looking for the desired results in the rankings as it is the most important on-page optimization factor which counts.

are you saying that having the same title with your homepage and inner page? Try to think of relevancy. i mean the i'am sure that every inner page has different topics, different content. having one title cant be possible to get you on SERP. coz for me. Title is one factor to describe what's on your page..
