I have recently seen alot about social media.It is the new thing coming after seo, SB is a part of SM.Rest the others members I am sure can explain better.

social media have no interactions among its the users. Its just sharing of videos, audio, text and so on.

SB, from the rem itself, is used to bookmark your fave site or anything you find useful.

I think both are useful but in different manner Social Media is use for generating publicity through social media, online communities and community websites, while Social Bookmarking was you were saving all those files or sites you think helpful to your site. You can also get traffic/ backlinks through this.

Social media is basically about sharing user generated content among people through networking, social networking sites are best example of it, social bookmarking sites is just an extension of social media where people share bookmarks.

Social bookmarking and social media can help drive traffic for a site .

Through Social media you have the chance to interact with other people at the same time, share information and perspectives.
While Social Bookmarking help you organize bookmarks as well as sharing it and also tag their favorite sites

IMO, there is no really interaction with social media,as what they said its more on videos, audios and other multimedia. The only interaction with this one is just the comments users can give.

It is the social networking where we can see interactions among users...

Yeah right.. "Comment users can give" so there's still interaction happen..I.m not saying that social media is just all about interacting w/ people, it's just a part of it..

SB and SM has the same benefits but obviously SM weighs more because its much more entertaining than SB. SM includes video clips and images that targets to better content, better appearance, better information, and describes/emphasize/visualize better a certain article.
