Will the way I exchange links hurt my SEO?

I recently joined Link2Me.com and I've already done about 100 link exchanges in the past couple of days. All of the links I'm exchanging are in the "business" category but many are not directly related to my forum and don't have a PR. Will trading links with websites that are not 100% related to my website hurt my SEO or will google overlook this since most of the websites are business related? The most relevant category for my website on Link2Me.com is "wholesale trade". Unfortunately there are not that many websites in that category.

there is no hurting point in terms of Link exchange but it must be related/relevant to your site., and both site will be benefited.,

I don't think it will hurt your seo but actually your mission may not be achieved. so always be on the lookout for sites that are a good fit with yours and contact them about exchanging links.

link trades is one of the way of link building. its alright as long as it is related to your site. but, too much link trading is bad, I mean "too much"...try to limit it because it might result to excessive link trading which is bad.

Well......prticipaing in any link exchange program is not a good idea in terms of google as link exchane programs looks unnatural and reciprocal links are not valuable as earlier in terms of google but it is totally not wrong because other SE's yahoo and msn still consider reciprocal links a lot.

The most important thing to remember to exchange links only with relevant sites as google is so strict in term of relevancy.

That's not organic way of building links... It is good if not done excessively and linking to only related sites....

Actually it only depends on what you want to achieve through a link exchange program. If it is traffic you seek, you should only focus on pages with good traffic where your link will be displayed in a highly visible spot.
If, on the other hand, you want to increase your PageRank - this is not the strategy that will do it. You need one way links from authority sites to do the trick. And it will be hard...

As an SEO, I don't link with Automated Link Exchanged...

I'll go for natural link building like doing link exchange in forums.

Excessive link exchange is bad taste for google. If you continue doing this, sooner or later google will catch you.

Ya, I agree with you......manual link exchange is better than automated in terms of google ranking. But as you said-

Links from forum are generally supported by "No-follow" aatributes and search engines do not consider it as a backlink for a site.(if you are talking about sign. links).

It seems that Link2Me.com is not an automated link exchange so that I think you are pretty safe.

Excessive reciprocal links or link exchange that is not related to your site might harm your site and might have a negative impact on the search result of your site.
