Shifting techniques in selecting keyterms

Hi,

A matter that I have noticed and is very important is the possible gradual shifting in the keyterms values.

You can find so many instances on the web that the No.1 keyterm for your web niche might be No.3 next year, and suppose you have already fixed your top Google rankings for your No.1 keyword but after a year you can see less traffic coming to your website due to the changes in the search engines trends world.

It seems that a thorough and constant observation of the keyterms is needed to make the necessary changes and adding new keyterms to the pages as the changes take place might be one idea.

Do you have any experiences in this regard or any ideas coming to your minds?

Thanks.

Indeed, search engines are getting smarter and smarter with their updates and regarding the keyword, like you we must be a keen observer to see what are the the keyword that are entertained and make those keyword my target.

We can never tell what else is going to happen since search engines are doing some updates every now and then and they are tricky sometimes.. We have to do some changes also for our site's improvement coz we really have to go with the flow.

You must choose your keyterms wisely and properly focus on those SEO process that work and discard those that doesn't work...

This is very true.

A good way to approach SEO is not to go all out for one and only one search term.

While I do tend to focus on one term as my most desirable, I also make sure to broaden my scope out to include a number of others as well.

this only means that we must keep up with their standard regarding those fields...we must not stop improving just like the way they do.
