PR., do still important?

Some says that PR are now meaningless., and they were thinking that., what important to their site to boost up was a higher number of traffic driven to their site., KW's which to leading to different SE's.., and relevant IBL to their site., So in that way of thinking., do you think PR are still important to a certain site.,?

as long as your site visible to SE.. even it has PR 0, i think that would be a great thing.

PR is not important. the way I see on the usage of PR is that it is just used for link exchanging or if you are greedy, then you might be thinking of making a profit out of your glorious high PR.

things that is more important than PR are traffic, ranking, and content...and you may add the following which is the most important...food, water, shelter, clothes...LOL!

you could look at it from a different perspective thou.

Google grants higher PR to the more important pages of a site, so its important in finding which pages on someone else's site you should be placing the link to your site (With a no follow tag of course)

Well.... IMO PR still has a usage although some may think that it's uselless I doubt it. Cause If you have a high PR You can use it if you want to Request for Link Exchange cause some of those webmasters still looking if you have a PR.

yeah some people said that.....the higher the PR rank to more money you could make....but for selling link google said no no no...hell...this wouldn't stop people from selling links...there is no ending for it

I agree than eventhough your site is PR 0 therefore it ranks well in SE.

take this example..my friend's site has Pr4 but unique visitors less than 50 a day..so are you think that Pr is important anymore for traffic??

PR is still important because it's one of the basis of other websites to accept your request as their link exchange partner. If you have higher PR and your site is relevant to them, they will easily add your site to their link page.

For me PR is still important its becuase PR I think indicated how quality is your site.

PR is only important to those who sell/buy link. For me I need the traffic as well as good SERP position than the PR.

PR tells me if a site can rank well. The higher the PR, the better an optimised site will rank.

I have never worried about PR anyway. My focus is on traffic, rankings, conversion and ROI
