thinking that SEO is frustrating is a part of it.think that everyday is a learning process... you just don't stop there, you'll have to be flexible and willing to face different challenges.

Don't Axe Your Feet
This is a name of the game. Seo has reverted with more online users trust. Therefore the one who is able to successfuly run the organic marketing show will win the game. Yes, frustration is their but you know this is what we called it is easier to be number one but it's very difficult to retain number one slot.
Seo is a cheapest way to brand your online commodity. You can't compare it with anything else yet!
Cheers

The long run
Any field that is constantly changing, expanding and becoming more and more competitive will be frustrating, but stick with it as it offers the greatest satisfaction in the end. Look at it this way, you’ll never be bored.

SEO is not a race you run where there's an end. As long as there's new webmasters you're always running!
Nothing to go around it, yup hate it love it we have to deal with it.

Sometimes I get confused with SEO. There are lots of updates and so much to read and learn. But then, it becomes exciting.

SEO is like the iron man triathlon. Always changing terrain, so you better be prepared. The more times you run the race the better off you are. The earlier you started training the better prepared you will be for the different courses (search engines).
SEO rocks, unless Google says they don't like it then I'm with them.

Frustrated
I get frustrated at work where the owner, in his infinite technical wisdom, can manage a google search for SEO and decide we should go blackhat. I have to repeatedly explain why certain practices are bad. I guess that's not really related to being frustrated with SEO in general so much as it is being tired of working for a tech company, and being the only one who is computer literate. I mean honestly, is it that much to ask?
That whole "Gen X is so amazingly computer savvy, and Gen Y even more so!" is such a load of BS. Being able to text message and download a myspace template doesn't make you a genius. Sorry for the rant, long day at work. I need a new job, and/or Lucy Liu to come rescue me and take me far away....

SEO should be done consistently to get good results. Frustration is only natural especially if cometition is stiff. The thing is, experiment on other ways to achieve your goals. See what works that gets you ahead of your competition

yeah if you got a good result but how about you got a bad result???
Just like when you want your keywords be in the top 10 of google and you did all the promotion like anchoring it in forums, do the deep link in the directories and others...then nothing happens site doesn't appear even in the top 100...Isn't it frustrating????
Anyway when that things happen don't be frustrated maybe you need to much better link building next time...take that as challenge..and just think SEO is a challenge...because that is what I've did when I encounter that thing....

It's frustrating if you don't like it and all of your hard work will be gone when you see your site rank high

Working on SEO is frustrating at times when you try a lot of things to get your site on the top but still the results are not to be seen as you would wish to.
The main thing I learned while doing SEO is to have patience and just follow the ethical ways of getting the site in top of the SERP's and you are sure to get good results and that would surely not get you frustrated then.

Its natural, if you don't get results even after putting your hard labour, you will be frustrated. But SEO is all about having patience and to be Cool-minded. Every business has its own pros and cons.

Yeah, enjoying what you do is really important. Sometimes you don't mind frustrations if you really enjoy your work. It feels like your not working at all and the pressure is lessen as well.
