What is the best way to trade links?
So far I haven't found a link marketplace that is worth using. LinkMarket.net is a total scam with thousands of abandoned accounts. I also tried Link2Me.com that has a lot of active users but less quality websites to trade with. Whenever I post up in forums I always get irrelevant websites wanting to trade with me. What other ways can I trade links? Should I search in Google for relevant websites and ask them if they want to trade? I already tried that a couple of times and the webmasters never responded.

I used one website for monthly $10 before, cant remember the name of the site. You can get a link exchange script, setup on your site as well.

Buy links, or if you have the money and don't feel like doing it your self hire someone to do it for you. (manually)

trade to those links which are related to your site having a good site reputation., just like PR and as possible check they daily traffic., and the most important was if this site can help your site to boost up and your site can help them to.,

I don't think it's the best but I'll still share it, anyway ...I usually look for sites with the same targeted keywords as mine then I look for their link pages, from there I start requesting link trades....

Use some of the tools to analyze your competitorss backlinks, and then go after the sites that are linking to them. I've had a lot of success with this strategy.

Try to search relevant sites then Email the Webmasters saying that Your requesting for Link Exchange but first you need to add those relevant site to your site before you email them and give them enough time to reply but if the time is over and they didn't rply its time for you to remove them in your site.

be patient for the response of the webmaster's you request a link exchange with and be eager to analyze briefly the sites that is requesting to link exchange with you...what you are doing currently are all the ways to find links. all you have to do is wait, be patient, and analyze.

I have been looking into this a bit....
I have been wanting an easier way to get quality links too. Lately I have been looking at a service called LinkExchanged. I haven't used it, but they seem ok, it is a directory of others who want to exchange links, you can search their database for keywords and approve or deny any link. Seems like it would be worth the $10 a month to me, but since I haven't used it, I am not sure how good the links are or the particulars. I actually posted in this forum asking about them.
If anyone has a semi-automatic system that works very well, I'd be happy to hear about it. It is a pain to build quality links by hand. Link bait always helps build links, but quality industry links are such a hassle. A searchable directory of others looking to exchange links seems to be a great way to get good results fairly quickly - depending on how many related sites are in their index.

My inbox gets flooded with "link exchange spammers" who always seem to want me to link exchange with their websites that have absolutely nothing in common with mine.
"Hi, I found your website www.goodchristian.com, liked the content and thought it would be great to exchange with our website www.adultswingers.com. Please add our code..."
It would be nice to be able to trust some of these.
