Amazing POS 1 & PO2 site in 3 weeks lol !!

I set out 3 weeks ago after joining this forum to get a POS 1 in the city of Preston UK for laptops and PC’s - computers. I achieved POS1 Google with my laptops and POS 2 with Pcs only beaten by PC World ..search in Google Preston laptops and Preston Pcs , thanks to this site and Johns SOE tips. Like to thank everyone who helped ... it’s not rocket science! Now to put more targeted content on the site. The reason I even checked the search was because I received an email this morning from someone enquiring about a motherboard, when I looked in my “catch all box” there where 3 more, I have answered them all for some hopeful word of mouth PR lol.. Now for the shopping cart.

Same happened to me, nearly. I got most of mine through Digg though; and I got some good rankings for a while, but then one of my articles just vanished off Google, which was getting me awesome traffic

Well done! (I should add that it's not a popular phrase - regional+laptop scarcely figures in Google keyword suggestions, except for UK, London and Glasgow - e.g. this page is ranking quite high now for the same phrase )

This shouldn't surprise you. SERPs got through digg are temporary - till the popularity of the post diminishes. The best would be that you come up with new articles as good as those that got you so many diggs - thus increasing the popularity of the site as a whole.

We ranked for keyword website design number 3 in 5 months from a new domain and did not buy one single link maybe a few directories

Yes, your next step should be improving your content on your site especially for your tagetted keywords.
