A new method I am testing

I am testing a thought (nothing new though).

I am trying to promote one of my websites in 5 different keywords. I decided to use directory submission services for 2 of the keywords (Which is what I usually do),

For the other 3 keywords, I started 3 new websites with Wordpress Blog installed on them. Of course the new domain names are exactly the keywords I am after of.

I will be making a post every other day and submit each of the new websites to 500 directories.

I am hoping after 3 month (my goal) they rank first on Google for their respective search term and then I will 301 redirect it to the respective page in my main website.

I will post here after the 3 month period how my test has turned out. Obviously this wouldn't be available in all niches as most keywords in popular niches are already taken (I mean domain names)

Will you be submitting to niche directories or general directories? Will you be using the same information for each directory submission?

I think that's not new... anyways, keep it up bro... That was used to be one of my strategies before when my blog was in a good path.. But now, I'll be starting all over again thanks to those damn blogger team... They suspected me for spamming... DAMN!! my blog supposedly in no. 1 for the keyword New ps3 games but now I'm gonna start from scratch...

I uses that method too on my previous sites and somehow it gives me a positive feedback...

That's not new.. I see plenty of that changing the title as the keyword phrase not the real title of the site

Well for me, I only change the description once my keywords are in good SERP position.

I wonder if so many submissions at once won't hurt your site instead. I'd be careful with that.

I dont think so. I usually do that with all my websites.

It won't hurt mostly because directories take a while to approve your listing. They wont all moderate the submission in one week, also it takes Google time to find those new listings too.

I partiallly agree to your way of achieving ranking. But... a frequent update with the site content. Knowing the lastest updates of keywords which user's utilize will be an added advantage to get your site into Ranking.

But... i would suggest that instead of going for 3 web sites option. You at present concentrate on the very 1st site of urs and try to achieve the hightest possible ranking with putting forth efforts. so once you hits the Google Ranking List... it wud be easy for you to get the other sites on the TOP at much less efforts.

I already am a site listed very high on Google on my main search term (right after Wikipedia).

So what you are saying is that after the blogs have gained the necessary rankings, you are going to redirect them to your main site? I was wondering, will your rankings then drop after that?

Well...its good but you should focus on popular and relevant directories only and also frequently change your description and title while submitting.....you can also add or remove a fw logical words to your main keywords in your title.
