FYI, there are business minded people that uses social bookmark because they know that there are lots of people that uses it too. just for business sake, they will do any means necessary...I know that some social bookmarking site do not entertain such posts to advertise or do some commercials. Just pick up those that does accept this kind of posts....

In my opinion social bookmarks are just good for short time traffic, but it is better than nothing.

I don't see any gain to have a BL from them, that's just some networking sites, nothing else.

the way I observe it, social bookmarks doesn't always provide traffic for your site unless you regularly update and regularly submit to them also.

social bookmarking sites or the community in it doesn't pay much attention to such posts that isn't that eye catching and somewhat old.

social bookmarking sites loves fresh content. so, doing such will drive traffic and when done regularly, the traffic that comes from the social bookmarkings sites will be permanent...
