Keyword Research tool

Before Overture completely sh!t the bed, I used to refer to their tool constantly, as I'm sure we all did. Since that time I have used a number of tools. One in aprticular was provided by SEObook, but they seem to have changed their interface and now it looks like it is greatly influenced by Wordtracker. The numbers look wayyyy off now. Has anyone encountered this? Better yet does someone use a free tool that seems to be somewhat reliable and accurate?

Some tools are not accurate and if you want some reliable results you may use those paid ones but for now, I'm using adwords keyword tool

Thanks, I'm a little surprised by the lack of response, but maybe no one uses them? who knows?

Tried it for the phrase "kids crafts" and got this...

"Sometimes no results are returned even though there are queries performed on the keywords you typed in during the given month. If this occurs, just hit submit again until the correct results are returned."

I got no results after 3 tries. Pretty strange comment.

I will let everyone know, i am going to try a few... overture's gave me results for January 2007, so that was of no use.

I suggest web ceo and wordtracker also. Google's keyword research tool is also nice but does not offer numbers like how many searches per day, etc. or does it and I just don't know where it is? : )

I came across this one a LONG time ago and still use it to this day, it still connects to an Overture database but I think it is archived on there end as I believe the stats stopped compiling in January.

Why not try using the Google Suggests... It is a good tool...a realtime keyword suggestion tool...

Yeah it's a good tool. somehow similar with Overture but it's much better and faster

Ok, I think I still stick on the free ones. BTW there is a saying that "The best thing in this world is free". just a saying but can sometimes true and sometime not!
