SE is not a Way to get traffic you must have to get rank in SE if you want visitors in your website... and for that you have to do all SEO and SEM task dude there is no any other way to generate lead for your site..... you can get traffic from directories and other ways but it's worthless because all need pure traffic which can generate leads for business

You can also use www.easysearchenginesubmission.com which is also free with links to the free submit pages for the top 15+ SEs including Google and Yahoo of course.

the search engines will find you through links pointing to your site. no need to waste your time with this.
There are only a few major search engines worth being in, unless you are in a specific niche, so don't waste your time on the search engine submission sites.

It is better to submit links manually, there is only a handful of search engines worth submitting and there is no reason to blast through free search engines submission anymore, note that it may not be good for your website if it appear on too many low quality directories (some search script submit to directories too), that shows that you are among the low quality crowd in certain search engines eye.

As far as I know there are no need to submit links to the SE. I thought that enough to place link on well indexed web site and everything will be ok.

Yes, true for major search engines as they are pretty quick to pickup new sites when there are enough links to it, certain second tier (country specific) search engines may take more time to find out the new site though.
Instead, submitting a sitemap to major search engines for your website is also good to help search engines crawling your new site.
